Hyundai’s award-winning Santa Fe continues to add to its trophy chest, making the list of the 2015 Most Popular on Edmunds.com (alongside the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander). Praised for its stylish design, spacious interior and choice of powerful yet fuel efficient engines, the Santa Fe was one of the most-considered vehicles in its segment on car-shopping website Edmunds.com.

“Santa Fe offers buyers a combination of futuristic design, versatility and all-around functionality that are best-in-class,” said Scott Oldham, editor in chief, Edmunds.com. “Given the vehicle’s price point and the seemingly-endless safety and convenience features offered as standard, it’s no wonder the Santa Fe made this year’s list of most popular vehicles.”

Car-shopping website Edmunds.com serves nearly 18 million visitors each month. The 2015 Most Popular on Edmunds.com awards are presented to the top three new models in each vehicle segment with the highest total car-shopper consideration during January 2014 through October 2014. The results are based on monthly unique visitors to the new car research and inventory pages on Edmunds.com's desktop site for each model.

“The Santa Fe continues to offer families the quality and functionality that they require, and the technology and convenience features that they want from CUV’s,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “Receiving this award confirms that shoppers are taking notice of the unbeatable value proposition that Santa Fe stands for.”

The 2015 Santa Fe features an upgraded interior and sportier exterior, designed to provide optimal performance and comfort for families. It continues to offer front- or all-wheel drive and is equipped with the acclaimed 3.3-liter Lambda II V-6, using gasoline direct injection and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT). The 2015 Santa Fe also comes with Hands-Free Smart Liftgate with Auto Openmakes, making it easier for the driver to access the cargo area by simply waiting for the liftgate to open after standing within a few feet of the rear bumper. Upgraded safety features for the 2015 model also include retuned suspension enhancements and a driver’s blind spot mirror, along with standard safety equipment such as Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control System. The 2015 model also comes standard with Hyundai’s industry-leading Assurance Connected Care program.
