  • 2016 Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle

    DETROIT, Jan. 12, 2015 – Hyundai launched its first plug-in hybrid vehicle today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is expected to travel up to 22 miles on electric power and can recharge in as little as two and a half hours with a Level 2 charger.   • HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA REPORTS BEST YEAR AND DECEMBER EVER

    Fountain Valley, Calif., Jan. 5, 2014 – Hyundai Motor America today announced a record December sales month of 64,507 units, up two percent versus the record-setting period in 2013. 

    This is the fifth consecutive year of record U.S. sales up over the previous year and totaling 725,718.
